Library Reading Areas

These areas are suitable for whole class bookings specifically for reading lessons.

These areas can only be booked by Teaching Staff.

The Library can comfortably accommodate two full classes per period (one upstairs, one downstairs). This will ensure classes are spread out across the Library spaces and have shared access to the Library's print collections for reading and research, as well as the provision for adequate seating spaces.

When booking an area for a reading lesson, please:

• Nominate if you would like it to be a recurring booking;
• If you'd like our Literature Librarian, Ms Ann Jagger, to be present for reading recommendations (subject to availability).

A Library staff member will be contact to confirm your booking.
